Job summary

The State of Indiana's INDOT Roselawn Unit seeks a Highway Maintenance Unit Supervisor to lead diverse maintenance teams, assign workloads, and ensure safe, efficient operation of roads, bridges, and facilities. You will guide staff performance and coordinate winter operations.

A CDL (Class A or B) is required or must be obtained within 90 days; a high school diploma or equivalent is acceptable. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Specialized knowledge of highway maintenance, bridges, and equipment.
• Experience supervising multiple employees.

Responsibilities

• Supervise highway maintenance units (bridges, heavy equipment, facilities).
• Assign work and prioritize tasks; ensure materials and equipment are available.
• Oversee operations to meet schedules with minimal interruptions.
• Provide direction, feedback, and coaching to staff.
