Responsibilities

• Operate a brush chipper and powered hand tools for vegetation management on SCDOT right-of-way.
• Operate a dump truck hauling tools to and from the job site.
• Assist with placement of traffic control devices and act as a flagger in maintenance work zones.
• Work alongside inmates performing mowing, litter removal, and right-of-way clearing.
• May require overtime, nighttime work, and extended shifts during hazardous weather or emergencies.
