Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate backhoe and tandem dump truck for highway maintenance and construction tasks.
• Grade, form, and finish concrete for curbs, sidewalks, and driveways; work on shoulders and drainage structures.
• Coordinate placement of traffic control devices to create safe work zones as per SCDOT manuals.
• Assist in emergency and inclement weather operations; may work extended hours or 12-hour shifts.
