Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a Highway Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of highway maintenance services under close supervision. Training in highway/roadway routine maintenance will be provided.

Location is Pooler, GA, with family-like values and generous compensation. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 18+ years of age, and a valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year driving history.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of clean driving.

Responsibilities

• Clean and clear culverts.
• Mowing and clearing brush from roadsides.
• Patching broken or eroded pavements and shoulders.
• Assist in storm cleanup.
• Fence and sign repair.
• Litter/debris removal.
• Emergency response.
• Operate equipment used in Highway Maintenance.
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, brooms, etc.
• Use power tools such as chainsaws, pole saws, weed eaters, backpack blowers, etc.
