DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) seeks a Highway Maintenance Technician to perform highway maintenance tasks and related duties under supervision. The role focuses on road maintenance, culverts, mowing, patching pavements, and storm cleanup, requiring physical work outdoors.

Applicants must be 18+, hold a valid driver's license with 3+ years of clean driving, and be able to lift moderately heavy objects and work in adverse weather.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of clean driving.
• Able to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Able to lift moderately heavy objects.
• Be able to bend, climb, stand, stoop, or walk for long periods of time.
• Accurate eye-hand coordination.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations with work plans and work schedules due to workload or season display.

Responsabilités

• Clean and clear culverts.
• Mowing, and clearing brush from roadsides.
• Patching broken or eroded pavements and shoulders.
• Assist in storm cleanup.
• Fence and sign repair.
• Litter/debris removal.
• Emergency response.
• Operate equipment used in Highway Maintenance.
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, brooms, etc.
• Use power tools such as chainsaws, pole saws, weed eaters, backpack blowers, etc.
