Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial company, is seeking a Roadway Maintenance Technician to support infrastructure management across diverse sites. You will perform maintenance and repairs on roadways, medians, signage, and related assets, with emphasis on safety and adherence to contract standards.

Responsibilities include preventing hazards, setting up MOT/TTC zones, transporting crews and equipment, and responding to incidents on a 24/7 basis.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED; required.
  • Two years in infrastructure maintenance or repair preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record required.
  • CDL Class A preferred; TTC certification within 3 months.
  • NIMS training within the first month.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain highways and medians, remove litter and debris.
  • Repair road surfaces: potholes, striping, reflectors, and concrete work.
  • Maintain roadway signs, guardrails, fencing, and lighting.
  • Transport crew and equipment to worksites using trucks and trailers.
  • Establish safe MOT (Maintenance of Traffic) and TTC zones.
  • Assist law enforcement during traffic incidents.
  • Work at heights from bucket trucks, scaffolding, ladders, and lifts.
  • Be available for overtime, evenings, weekends and holidays.
