Job summary

Ferrovial is seeking a Road Maintenance Worker to perform traffic control, debris removal, and routine upkeep of road assets. You will drive to sites, operate trucks, and support MOT operations while upholding safety standards.

Qualified candidates will have a HS diploma or GED, basic math, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. A valid license is required. This is a hands-on role with field responsibilities across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Must practice safe work methods and stay injury free.
• Recognize hazards and adjust to avoid loss or injury.
• Must wear PPE appropriate to the job.
• Cooperate and communicate with coworkers and supervisor.
• Understand written, oral, or diagram instructions.

Responsibilities

• Create safe MOT control by setting up/removing devices like cones and boards.
• Transport crew and equipment to sites using large trucks and trailers.
• Contribute to a diverse, inclusive and fair work environment.
• Follow company policies and procedures as amended.
• Remove road debris and litter from roadways and shoulders.
• Remove debris around facilities, docks, and parking areas.
• Remove shopping carts and other foreign objects from client property.
• Remove debris around stockpile locations and incident debris.
• Remove dead animals per safety guidelines; notify client for large items.
• Remove illegal signs or structures not authorized by client.
