Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial company, Houston, TX, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance crews for roads and other infrastructure assets. You will train crews, enforce safety rules, coordinate emergency responses, and ensure MOT traffic control is correctly established and removed.

You will perform basic repairs to structures, electrical and lighting, manage vegetation, and transport crews and equipment to sites.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED (Required).
• One year of work experience in infrastructure, maintenance, and repair (Preferred).
• A valid driver license and a good driving record to drive a company vehicle.
• CDL, DOT certifications, Electrical and Welding Certifications (Highly Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Trains, directs and coordinates the work of crews to perform maintenance activities based upon local work-plan through consultation with Zone Superintendent in compliance with safety rules.
• Directs and coordinates local emergency response and responds as needed to road closures or incidents.
• Creates safe Maintenance of Traffic (M.O.T) control by setup and removal of traffic control devices including cones, boards, signage.
• Repairs/maintains functionality of roadway catch basins, sumps and pumps, electrical systems, lighting, and signs.
• Transports crew and equipment to work sites using pickups and large trucks.
