Job summary

Ferrovial's Webber, LLC unit seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to care for highway structures, bridges and related systems. Responsibilities include MOT setup, repairs to concrete/steel elements, and working from heights on varied equipment. The role requires readiness for after-hours emergencies and travel to sites.

Ideal candidates bring a HS diploma, 1 year in construction/maintenance, and CDL/DOT or welding certifications are a plus. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of construction, maintenance and repair experience preferred.
• Experience leading a crew.
• CDL, DOT, Electrical and Welding certifications are highly desirable.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair highway structures including concrete and structural steel.
• Set up and remove Maintenance of Traffic (M.O.T.) controls.
• Work from heights using bucket trucks, scaffolding and lifts.
• Repair slopes, berms and drainage with appropriate tools.
• Control vegetation and ensure appearance of sites.
• Maintain bridge fender systems and navigational signs.
• Work in and around water and boats.
• Transport crew and equipment to sites.
• Be available for after-hours emergencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
