Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Beaumont District seeks Transportation Maintenance Tech I, II, or III for the Jasper Maintenance Office. The role supports routine roadway maintenance, traffic control, and equipment operation with opportunities for skill advancement and CDL training.

Qualifications

• TMT I = No experience required.
• TMT II = 1 year experience.
• TMT III = 2 years experience.
• Experience must be in transportation engineering support, roadway maintenance, construction inspection, heavy equipment operation, or related work. Substitutions may apply.

Responsibilities

• Works on highway/bridge maintenance and repairs as per plans and specs.
• Inspects and ensures compliance with traffic control devices and standards.
• Operates light and heavy equipment as required.
• Performs PMI, minor repairs and required reports.
• Trains other employees and may lead work crews.
