Job summary

Texas Department of Transportation is seeking Transportation Maintenance Technicians at the I/II/III levels to help maintain highways, bridges and roadside facilities. The role involves operating heavy and light equipment, performing roadway repairs, installing traffic control devices, and assisting at accident sites and with emergency response.

The position requires CDL and related endorsements where applicable, compliance with safety regulations, and the ability to work in demanding field

Qualifications

• Experience requirements vary by Tech I/II/III levels as listed in the job ad.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and perform roadway maintenance and inspections.
• May require CDL A with N endorsement or equivalent within specified timelines.
