State-of-Missour’s Greenfield Maintenance Facility is seeking an entry-level to senior maintenance worker to support routine upkeep of state roadways and facilities. Responsibilities are performed under direct supervision as you gain skills and advance within our CAREER-LADDER program.

You will perform road, bridge, and facility maintenance, operate vehicles and equipment, and respond to emergencies. This role requires physical stamina, outdoor work, and CDL exam readiness within 60 days of hire.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must pass the CDL written exam and the driving portion with tanker endorsement, EI/NI status within 60 days after hire.

Aufgaben

• Maintains state highway systems, including filling joints and potholes, flagging, traffic control, and material handling.
• Maintains, cleans, and repairs highway facilities, signs, guardrails, curbs, gutters, paint and servicing equipment.
• Operates vehicles to transport personnel and equipment, plow snow and spread ice control materials, and uses machinery like backhoe, forklift, and trucks.
• May repair bridge decks and drains, and perform work at heights using ladders or scaffolding.
• May install signs and inspect structural/sign components, pour concrete sign footings, weld sign posts and maintain signage.
