State of Missouri’s MoDOT seeks a maintenance worker to perform routine, entry-level duties on roadways and facilities under direct supervision. The role offers CAREER-LADDER advancement based on skills and experience, with opportunities to move to higher levels without a competitive interview.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Must pass the CDL written test before hire and tanker endorsement and CDL exam with Class B interstate status within 60 days of hire.
• Successful completion of a work simulation and a medical-physical exam.
• Herbicide, Conservation and Pesticide experience is required.
• Chainsaw and other small outdoor equipment experience is required.
• Groundskeeping/ management skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Maintain state highway systems including right of ways, medians, weeds, brush, and traffic control devices.
• Repair and clean right of ways, medians, signs, guardrails, curbs, and equipment.
• Operate vehicles and equipment for transportation, snow/ice control, mowing, and material handling.
• Assist with pesticide inventory, loading, and delivery if needed.
• Assist Monarch CCAA plantings and habitat restorations.
