Qualifications

• One year of experience in highway maintenance coordination or a similar role.
• Six years of technical highway maintenance or heavy equipment experience.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Work Planning: Develop programs and plans for long range, annual and short-term maintenance activities.
• Crew Supervision: Oversee crews performing highway/bridge maintenance and minor construction work.
• Agility Management: Develop, negotiate and monitor agility agreements with local partners.
• Emergency Response: Manage incident and emergency activities for the assigned portion of the county.
• Work Inspection: Conduct inspections of maintenance activities, contract work, and practices.
• Staff Leadership: Plan and evaluate work, perform reviews, coach, and participate in hiring.
