The role requires coordinating inspections, supervising personnel, and ensuring effective maintenance planning. The position is full-time with standard hours and potential AWS after probation.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Highway Maintenance Coordinator, Roadway Programs Coordinator, or Transportation Construction Manager 1; or
• Six years of technical experience in highway maintenance, highway construction, or equipment maintenance; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans and estimates for roadway, bridge, and seasonal maintenance operations.
• Direct general and specialized crews during maintenance and minor construction work.
• Prepare drafts of long-range, annual, monthly, and weekly work plans.
• Coordinate with local organizations to oversee fair service exchange agreements.
• Review maintenance activities and coordinate inspections of contract work.
• Assign tasks, evaluate performance, coach employees, and address staffing needs.
