Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Highway Maintenance Coordinator, Roadway Programs Coordinator, or Transportation Construction Manager 1 (or equivalent).
• Six years of technical experience in highway maintenance or highway construction; experience with heavy equipment.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and monitor maintenance work across an assigned county area.
• Direct general and specialized maintenance crews for highway and bridge activities.
• Manage incident and emergency operations within the region.
• Monitor environmental clearances and permits for construction and maintenance work.
• Inspect roads, bridges, and tunnels and review staff work.
• Review funding, personnel, and material needs and manage purchase orders.
