The South Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking a skilled equipment operator to support roadside and right-of-way maintenance in Greenwood, SC. This role requires six months of related experience, a valid driver’s license with Class A CDL within six months, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

You will operate dump trucks, mowing and heavy equipment, perform safety checks, and assist in snow and ice removal as needed.

Qualificações

• Requires a valid motor vehicle operator’s license; Class A CDL within six months.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Shift may include extended hours or 12-hour shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Operate tandem and single axle dump trucks with trailers for hauling material.
• Perform routine roadside maintenance, vegetation removal, and debris clearing.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Assist in emergency or inclement weather operations as needed.
