Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of related work experience.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license required; must obtain Class A CDL within six months of placement.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to maintain roadways (e.g., backhoe, front end loader, road patcher).
• Support foreman in daily safe work practices including flagging, PPE, CDL inspections, hazardous materials, and waste handling.
• Operate forklift and skid steer loader for roadway maintenance.
• Assist with inclement weather operations and extended or 12-hour shifts as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
