Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with some maintenance experience.
• Ability to meet Operator I core training requirements within the specified City policy.
• Must have a valid Ohio Driver License and pursue Class A CDL with airbrake and tanker endorsements within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of vehicles and equipment for streets, parks, cemeteries, and facilities.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on city assets and equipment.
• Set up work zones, handle road closures, and assist with special events as needed.
• Direct and coordinate part-time, seasonal, and volunteer personnel.
