Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America in Beaumont, TX is seeking a full-time Day Street Sweeper (CDL B) to own and operate assigned routes with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will drive a street sweeper, perform pre/post inspections, and maintain route quality throughout the shift.

Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, 1 year of DOT driving experience (waste/recycling preferred), and a valid CDL-B with a DOT Medical Card.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED.
• Experience: 1 year DOT driving experience – waste & recycling services experience preferred.
• License: CDL-B & DOT Medical Card.
• Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Compliance: Must maintain an acceptable driving record and pass MVR, background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned routes and operate the street sweeper.
• Follow safety procedures, inspections and site protocols.
• Report equipment issues, incidents and safety concerns promptly.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors and teammates.
