Job summary

Branch Civil is seeking an Incident Response Technician to support roadway incident response operations, traffic control, debris removal, and emergency maintenance activities. Working under the Incident Response Foreman, you will promote safety and help restore normal roadway conditions quickly.

This full-time on-site role requires night and weekend availability, a valid driver's license, and strong communication.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and follow instructions under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency call-outs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with deployment and adjustment of traffic control devices.
  • Clear minor roadway hazards and debris.
  • Support minor emergency repairs including patching and guardrail resets.
  • Maintain response vehicles, equipment, and safety tools in operational readiness.
  • Install signage, cones, and barricades per MUTCD and DOT requirements.
  • Assist with incident documentation and reporting.
  • Direct MOT crews and subcontractor as needed
  • May act as lead or coordinator of Incident Response in lieu of foreman/manager
