Job summary

Advanced Infrastructure Design is seeking aTraffic Control Technician to join their on-site team. The role involves setting up and maintaining temporary work zones, directing traffic with flagging procedures, and supporting the crew in varying weather conditions while ensuring safety and efficiency on the jobsite.

As part of the team, you will follow company policies, complete daily logs, perform basic vehicle maintenance checks, and wear required PPE (vest and hard hat) during shifts.

Qualifications

• Must set up, maintain and remove temporary work zones including warning signs, traffic cones, drums, and barricades.
• Direct traffic by flagging using the sign paddle after proper training.
• Work in all weather conditions and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Properly follow all company policies.
• Completing a detailed daily timesheet.
• Filling out vehicle and radio log book.
• Ensuring that your assigned vehicle is working properly at the beginning and end of each shift by completing daily vehicle maintenance form.
• Always make sure to take the proper personal protection equipment including vest and hard hat.
• Reporting any maintenance problems or safety concerns to the team leader immediately and completing any corresponding forms.
• Keeping company vehicles clean and orderly, making sure all trash is removed at the end of the shift.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned, including shop work which may include general maintenance, inventory, and organizing of equipment.
