Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of roadway infrastructure maintenance and standard methods, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to operate small hand and power tools and use basic maintenance techniques.
• Ability to read, write and understand safety rules, manuals, and procedures.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and safe work practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Respond to traffic incidents and coordinate with Tunnel Operator.
• Set up and remove Temporary Traffic Control zones and devices.
• Assist law enforcement in managing traffic incident scenes.
• Maintain and clean incident response vehicles on a regular basis.
• Repair road surfaces, signage, lighting, and other assets as required.
• Transport crew and equipment to job sites; operate large trucks.
• Work overtime during emergencies; after-hours and weekend shifts.
• Wear PPE and adhere to safety policies.
• Perform other duties and maintenance tasks as assigned.
