Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
• Four years of experience with medium and heavy equipment, two specifically in utility or street systems.
• Valid CDL license is required.

Responsabilités

• Operates trucks of various sizes for loading, hauling, and unloading equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Adheres to safety guidelines and OSHA excavation rules.
• Operates construction equipment (brooms, backhoes, loaders, excavators, etc.).
• Performs routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Assists with traffic control devices and road maintenance.
• Shoots grades and performs related math; interprets civil drawings.
• Works with the crew in digging ditches and trenches and handling materials.
• Plows snow and salts roads as needed.
