Job summary

Robinson Paving Co in Georgia is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our construction team. We build reliable roads and materials to support Georgia communities, with benefits including health, dental and life insurance.

The ideal candidate has 2 years' experience and a high school diploma or equivalent, and can work days, nights, or weekends. You must pass a drug screen and background check and meet MVR requirements.

Qualifications

• 2 years' minimum experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed.
• Able to complete all required paperwork efficiently.
• Must be able to meet company MVR requirements and have a valid Georgia driver's license.
• Employer conducts drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate several types of power construction equipment including blades, motor graders, milling machines, bulldozers, backhoes or trackhoes, rollers, off road dump trucks, front-end loaders or excavators.
• Spread, smooth, level, mill or steel-reinforce stone, concrete, or asphalt on road beds or other job sites.
• Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair equipment and conduct pre-shift inspections.
• Take actions to avoid hazards or obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, workers or falling objects.
• Follow safe practices and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
