The City of Kennesaw, GA is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to lead a maintenance crew. The role involves operating various heavy machinery, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining public areas.

Ideal candidates will have experience in street or facility maintenance, a valid CDL, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. The position offers comprehensive benefits, including medical and dental insurance, vacation and sick leave, and retirement plans.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED; supplemented by three (3) years of experience in street and/or facility maintenance.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Must possess certifications: Flagging, CPR, OSHA, and Storm water.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate daily work activities of assigned crew.
• Adhere to established safety procedures and monitor work environment.
• Drive or operate a variety of equipment in maintenance and repair tasks.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections on assigned vehicles.
• Maintain traffic control devices and street signs.
