Job summary

New Terrain Grading is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator level 3 to join our Hartwell, GA crew. You will drive and operate skid steers, excavators, dozers, and haul trucks to support site grading and infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidates read civil drawings, follow safety protocols, and possess OSHA 10 or willingness to obtain it. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow with a family-owned team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Able to read civil drawings and CEPSI Reports.
• OSHA 10 preferred, training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Understand risks and safety hazards and follow procedures.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret civil drawings and CEPSI reports.
• Perform daily inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
• Assist with site grading and earthmoving tasks.
• Train others as time allows and support project teams.
