Job summary

NV5 Engineers and Consultants, Inc. in Alpharetta, GA, seeks a Roadway Group Manager to lead transportation design staff and projects.

You will ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality while maintaining strong client relationships and pursuing new contracts. The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, a Georgia PE license or eligibility, 15+ years in transportation engineering, and proven management or project leadership experience, with strong MicroStation/OpenRoads and MS

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
Georgia PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months is required.
15+ years in transportation engineering are required.
Minimum 2 years of management or 5 years of project management experience.
Established relationships with GDOT, local municipalities or other state DOT.
Experience managing projects and leading project teams.

Responsibilities

Establish, maintain and monitor schedules, budgets and staffing for projects.
Mentor and train employees.
Create and execute business plans for the group.
Market NV5 to GDOT, local municipalities and other potential clients to obtain new contracts.
Participate in professional associations and societies.
Collaborate with Director of Infrastructure to achieve department goals.
Complete other assignments as determined by the Director.
