Job summary

NV5 is seeking a Transportation Project Engineer for our Alpharetta, GA office. The role involves engineering design, calculations, CAD support, and project assistance for the Transportation Design group.

You will work to complete projects on time and within budget, with responsibilities including roadway design plans and collaboration with engineers and designers. The candidate should have a BS in Civil Engineering and 5+ years of roadway design experience, with a GA PE license or the ability

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering is required.
• GA PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 5+ years of roadway design or transportation engineering experience.
• Knowledge of MicroStation and Inroads/OpenRoads is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare roadway design plans with limited supervision.
• Provide design support and project assistance for transportation projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop engineering plans and specs.
• Travel as needed for projects and field observations.
