Forest Preserve District of DuPage County in West Chicago, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our Grounds Roads Crew. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing roadways, trails, parking areas, and related infrastructure across the district.

Ideal candidates have 1-3 years of maintenance experience, hold an Illinois Class A CDL or obtain it within 6 months, and hold a Pesticide Operator's License within 6 months. Schedule is Mon-Fri with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related experience in maintenance duties and operation of machinery and equipment.
• Valid Driver's License; Class A CDL required within 6 months of employment.
• IL Department of Agriculture Pesticide Operator's License required within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of District roadways including sealcoat, pave, patch, repair gravel and asphalt, driveways, trails and parking lots.
