Qualified applicants must hold a North Dakota Class A driver license without air brake restrictions with a cargo tank endorsement, or be eligible for an Operator I/Training path with related licenses.

Qualifications

• Valid North Dakota Class A driver's license without air brake restrictions and cargo tank endorsement by start date.
• Two years of relevant experience or one year plus one season of winter operations similar to NDDOT.
• Equipment Operator I option requires a valid North Dakota Class B license without air brake restrictions.
• In Training path available with 12 months to obtain Class A license and endorsement.

Responsabilités

• Maintain highways, roadways, and structures; operate heavy equipment for maintenance tasks.
• Install, repair, and maintain highway signs and guardrails; use power tools as needed.
• Keep roadways clear of litter, debris, and hazards; perform building and grounds work.
• Complete paperwork (time records, diaries, road reports) and participate in training under supervision.
