The ideal candidate will have a CDL with air-brake and tanker endorsement, plus 1–2 years of roadwork experience and the ability to read measurements. This is a full-time, on-site position with no remote work accepted.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Snow plow experience preferred.
• Knowledge of highway maintenance practices.
• CDL with air-brake and tanker endorsement required.
• Ability to read and understand measurements.
• 1-2 years of general roadwork experience.

Aufgaben

• Perform highway maintenance tasks safely per internal and external safety requirements.
• Operate equipment including trucks with spreader, tar distributor, bucket truck, mowers, scrapers, spreaders, sweepers and loaders as trained.
• Mow, weed trim and spray; snow and ice removal; patrol road and assist motorists.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment; clean up after assignments at day end.
• Load and dump crushed stone, sand, salt and other materials; assist other departments as needed.
• Provide good customer service and ensure proper PPE is worn.
• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and assist in training new employees.
