AtkinsRéalis in Fort Lauderdale, FL invites applications for an entry-level Roadway Engineer to join our Roads & Highways Team. This role supports developing conceptual through final engineering plans for public highway projects.

You will assist with cost estimates, environmental documents, and permit materials, while gaining exposure to MicroStation and GeoPak/InRoads/OpenRoads. 0–2 years’ related experience is acceptable.

Formación

• B.S. in Engineering. Minimal experience is required of incumbents with a Bachelor's Degree in a branch of Engineering directly related to hiring discipline; no experience required with a Master's degree.
• EXPERIENCE: 0-2 Years experience in a related technical field.
• SPECIAL SKILLS: Technical writing and communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Desire and motivation for training and performing tasks using the MicroStation CAD platform and the design software’s of either GeoPak, InRoads, or OpenRoads.

Job Description Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Roadway Engineer to join our Roads & Highways Team. This is an entry-level position in Ft Lauderdale, FL.

Your role

Participates in the development of the conceptual, preliminary, and final engineering plan work by completing well-defined tasks. Participates in supporting the development of alternative highway designs for public hearing materials as part of the environmental document preparation. Prepares material for reports and permit applications, gathering information, writing rough outlines, and/or preparing work progression documents and graphic presentations. Assists with calculation of quantities for construction cost estimates. Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

About you

Expected compensation range

Expected compensation range is between $75,000 - $85,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
