Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Roadway Civil Engineering Intern – Summer 2027 to join our Tampa, FL office. You will support administrative and operations tasks on roadway projects, and assist with data compilation for projects such as I-75 Progressive Design Build and I-4.

Support highway design development using CAD software (Open Roads Designer, AutoCAD Civil 3D). The role requires progressing toward a civil engineering degree (60 hours completed) in an ABET‑accredited program.

Qualifications

• No experience required if enrolled in an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related field.
• Must have completed 60 hours toward a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by Summer 2027.

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Roadway Civil Engineering Intern – Summer 2027 to join our Tampa, FL office. Your Role Provide administrative and operations support on various roadway related projects. Responsible for the compilation of highway/roadway data for projects that may include but are not limited to, the I-75 Progressive Design Build and Interstate 4 (I-4). Support the development of highway designs using CAD software such as Open Roads Designer or AutoCAD Civil 3D. Coordinates operation within organization unit to ensure consistency with policies and procedures. Must have good computer skills and be able to utilize standard office software. About You EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if accepted into an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field. EDUCATION: Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027). SPECIAL SKILLS: None

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
