AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Roadway Civil Engineering Intern – Summer 2027 for our Ft Lauderdale, FL office. You will provide administrative and operations support to Roads & Highways Engineering staff, collaborate with engineers on plan production tasks, perform drafting and CAD/ORD assignments under detailed instructions, and assist in compiling design data.

Job Description Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Roadway Civil Engineering Intern – Summer 2027 to join our Ft Lauderdale, FL office. Your Role Provide administrative and operations support to Roads & Highways Engineering staff Collaborate with engineers on Roadway plan production tasks Performs simple drafting and CAD/ORD assignments following detailed instructions Assist in the compilation of design data and the preparation of construction plans

About You

EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if accepted into a Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.

EDUCATION: Must be a Junior pursuing a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).

SPECIAL SKILLS: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or OpenRoads Designer (preferred)

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
