Job summary

Tighe & Bond's Transportation team in Westfield, MA is offering a Transportation Engineering Internship focused on roadway and intersection design, construction documentation, and field observations. You'll work with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other design tools to support plan development and traffic studies.

We seek an enrolled student in Civil Engineering (Associate or Bachelor's) with an interest in transportation, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Associate or Bachelor’s program in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Coursework related to roadway design or traffic studies.
• Interest in transportation engineering and traffic analysis.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility, positive attitude and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in roadway and intersection design, including traffic control and signage.
• Help prepare construction documents, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
• Participate in field visits and construction observations.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation to support plan development.
