Job summary

You’ll assist with roadway and intersection design, field observations, and documentation, contributing to critical Northeast infrastructure projects and sustainable solutions. This internship offers hybrid work, mentorship, structured learning, and professional development while working with seasoned engineers to gain hands-on experience in Civil

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s program pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or related degree.
• Coursework or experience related to roadway design or traffic studies or other related coursework and experience
• Strong interest in transportation engineering, roadway design, or traffic analysis
• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to solve engineering problems
• Effective communication skills and attention to detail
• Flexibility, a positive attitude, and open-mindedness

Responsibilities

• Assist in roadway and intersection design, including traffic control and signage
• Help prepare construction documents, technical specifications, and cost estimate
• Participate in field visits and construction observations
• Use design tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation to support plan development
