Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or transportation engineering and 2 years of roadway design experience.
• Experience with roadway, sidewalk, curb ramp, and driveway design and modeling; maintenance of traffic plans; cost estimation and quantity analysis.
• Professional Engineer licensure or ability to obtain PE license.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads, and BlueBeam REVU.
• Background checks and/or pre-employment drug testing may apply.

Responsibilities

• Serve as project manager or task leader for roadway engineering projects of varying size and complexity.
• Coordinate design team through design development and contract document phases.
• Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules; produce plans, specs, and estimates.
• Develop construction quantities and project estimates; write reports and memoranda.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with subconsultants and clients.
