NV5 is seeking a Transportation Assistant Engineer for our Alpharetta, GA office. The role focuses on design support, CAD tasks, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil Engineering, 0–3 years of roadway design experience, and an EIT certification. Proficiency with MicroStation/InRoads/OpenRoads and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering.
• 0–3 years of roadway design or transportation engineering experience.
• EIT Certification required.
• Knowledge of MicroStation and InRoads/OpenRoads software a plus.
• Willingness to travel; valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete roadway design plans under supervision of a professional engineer.
• Work alone or in small groups.
• Use MicroStation and InRoads/OpenRoads software.
• Assist engineers and designers in developing transportation plans and specs.
• Communicate effectively, with proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
