Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Foreman (Grade) in the Richmond, VA area to supervise crews on roadways and drainage projects. You will review plans, direct workers, and coordinate materials and scheduling with the Superintendent and Project Engineer.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Supervise crew in roadwork, drainage, and utility installations.
• Direct and train workers per contract drawings and specs.
• Coordinate material selection and scheduling to meet production plans.
• Maintain time and production records and daily job diaries.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and enforce PPE usage.
