Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Utility Foreman for the Richmond, VA area to supervise crews performing roadway and utility installation, grading, and related earthwork. You will interpret drawings, plan work sequences, and ensure production within schedule and budget.

Responsibilities include on-site training, enforcing safety rules, and managing materials and daily reports. Five years of related experience preferred; OSHA competent person may be required.

Qualifications

• Five years related experience and/or training.
• Experience with water/storm/sewer pipe installation and grading for roadways.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review documents and plans before performing activities.
• Direct and train crew as shown on drawings within the production budget.
• Plan sequence of activities in two-week schedule planning.
• Enforce safety regulations and use of PPE.
• Maintain time and production records and daily job diary.
