Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. in the Richmond, VA area is seeking a Grade Foreman to oversee crews engaged in roadways and drainage projects. You will supervise, train, and coordinate field workers, ensure plans and specs are followed, and maintain safety and productivity on site.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, directing tasks, coordinating with superintendents, planning two-week schedules, and enforcing company policies while controlling costs and quality. Five years related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Five years related experience and/or training in heavy civil construction.
• Experience with water/storm/sewer pipe installation and roadway grading.

Responsibilities

• Review documents and plans before proceeding with activities.
• Direct and train crew per contract drawings and specs; ensure production within budget.
• Plan two-week sequence of activities with Superintendent and Project Engineer.
• Enforce safety regulations and use of PPE; maintain daily records and timesheets.
