Qualifications

• Five years related experience and/or training.
• Experience with structures for bridge and roadway work.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and to speak effectively before groups.
• Ability to apply safety regulations and supervise crew effectively.

Responsibilities

• Reviews documents and plans, ensuring questions are answered before work begins.
• Directs and trains crew in performing work per contract drawings and specs.
• Plans sequence of activities on the project in two-week schedule planning.
• Maintains time and production records with detailed locations of work performed.
• Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials; sets up machines and equipment.
