Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Tulsa, Oklahoma office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training with 1+ years of experience to join our Roadway team. This is not a remote position.

The role offers mentorship, on-the-job training, and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions as you contribute to horizontal and vertical alignments, grading, streetscape improvements, and multimodal design.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of civil engineering design experience.
• ABET-accredited B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering.
• Engineer-In-Training certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
• Working knowledge of MicroStation and InRoads/OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sense of urgency to meet client deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers with civil design tasks as required.
• Contribute to horizontal/vertical alignments and grading design.
• Assist roadway improvements, multimodal design, and trails.
• Prepare signage, striping and signalization plans.
• Participate in plan production, project financials, and client interactions with mentorship.
