Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Roadside Technician to serve emergency tire needs at customer locations, mainly for semi-truck fleets. The role is roadside-focused, with additional shop duties when calls are slow and on-call responsibilities are required.

Starting pay is $20 hourly. The position includes on-call rotation with premium after-hours pay and a comprehensive benefits package. Experience isn’t required as training is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Commercial Service Tire experience

Responsibilities

• Respond to tire-related failures at customer locations to repair or change tires.
• Dispatched to roadside locations for emergency service on semi-truck fleets.
• Assist in mounting orders, shop cleaning and general duties when idle.
