Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Roadside Technician to respond to tire-related failures for semi-truck fleets. Technicians are dispatched to customer locations to repair or change tires and may assist in shop duties when calls are light.

No prior experience is required as candidates will be trained on relevant tire servicing tasks and safety procedures; on-call rotation and premium pay for after-hours service are included.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Servicing commercial tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including PPE and safety policies.

Skills

Valid driver's license

21+ years old

Authorized to work in the U.S.

Education

High School Diploma or GED
