Job summary

Goodyear is seeking a Roadside Technician to respond to tire-related emergencies for semi-truck fleets. The role covers on-site tire servicing, mounting/dismounting, and repairs at customer locations, with mandatory on-call rotations and premium pay for after-hours calls.

No prior experience required as training is provided; must have a valid driver’s license, be at least 21, and be legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Commercial Service Tire experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Servicing commercial tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing tires for trucks.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflate tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety policies including PPE and tire cages.
• Assist with shop duties during low service periods.
