Job summary

The Auto Club Group in Pompano Beach, FL is seeking a Service Vehicle Operator to respond to roadside calls, assist stranded motorists, and tow vehicles as needed. You will work from the road, handle service requests, and ensure safety and customer satisfaction on every call.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid state driver's license with clean record.
• Must pass drug screen, MVR, background check, and DOT exam.
• Strong customer service and professional communication.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Comfort using GPS and tablets/electronic apps.
• Able to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
• Must complete AAA training programs.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.
• If employed in Illinois, possession of an Illinois C-NonCDL license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside requests using a tow truck or service vehicle.
• Provide emergency roadside services: tire changes, fuel delivery, battery testing, jump starts, lockout, and minor repairs.
• Safely tow disabled vehicles following procedures and towing guidelines.
• Verify AAA membership and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean and professional service vehicle.
• Utilize tablets and electronic devices to manage calls, service requests, and towing procedures.
• Accurately document daily activities, service calls, vehicle logs, and receipts.
• Maintain DOT certification and an acceptable driving record.
• Achieve goals related to member satisfaction, safety, productivity, and battery services.
• Support community and AAA events as needed.
