Job summary

Action Road Solutions is seeking a quality Light Service Battery Technician to join our growing team. This is not a desk job; you should enjoy being active and have an interest in automobile knowledge, excellent customer service, and strong teamwork.

You will respond to dispatched calls and provide roadside assistance in a safe, professional manner. Tasks include tire changes, refueling, lockouts, and jumpstarts, plus daily truck inspections and keeping work areas clean.

Qualifications

• Must reside near assigned area to meet customer service time requirements.
• Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Able to bend, stoop, walk and stand for periods in all weather.
• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Willing to take a drug test and background check.
• Proficient with mobile and computer applications for admin work.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls dispatched to you in a safe, timely manner and provide roadside assistance.
• Communicate status and ETA to dispatch accurately.
• Perform emergency road service tasks: tire changes, fueling, lockouts, jumpstarts.
• Daily truck inspections and keeping tools, equipment, and storage area in order.
• Adhere to safe driving practices and report damaged or missing equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
