Job summary

FirstLine Road Solutions is seeking a Light Service Battery Technician to join a hands-on, active team. The role emphasizes quality roadside support, quick decision-making under pressure, and strong customer service in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will reside near the assigned area, hold a valid driver’s license, and be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Training is provided, and background checks are required per company policy.

Qualifications

• Must reside near assigned area.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to bend, stoop, walk and stand for periods in all weather.
• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Drug test and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls dispatched to you in a safe, timely manner and provide roadside assistance.
• Communicate with dispatch professionally and document status and ETA.
• Perform emergency road service duties safely, including tire changes, fueling, lockouts, and jumpstarts when needed.
• Inspect the truck daily for safety, organization, and equipment; complete pre-shift inspections.
• Maintain storage yard safely and keep the vehicle clean and fueled as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
